The Power of Place: The Indigenous Northern Neck Academic Symposium

Come together for a two-day Academic Symposium, presented by NNK250, a five-county regional commemorative effort. Under this year’s theme, The Power of Place, the Symposium will focus on ‘The Indigenous Northern Neck,’ with particular attention to Indigenous landscapes, scholarship, and activism.
The NNK250 Coalition aims to engage multiple perspectives, recognizing and honoring the Northern Neck’s vital role in the founding of our nation and its continuing impact on the American experiment.
The cost to attend is $25, and includes the opening reception, breakfast, and lunch. Funding for the Symposium is provided by the Jessie Ball duPont Fund. Discounted lodging is available at Stratford Hall for symposium attendees. To book lodging, please call 804-493-1967.
