|STRATFORD, VA, (December 9, 2015) – Beginning on January 2, 2016, Stratford Hall will institute its winter operating schedule. The grounds will be open daily to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. A grounds pass is $7 for adults and $5 for children. The road to the beach and the gristmill, as well as the nature trails, will be open, weather permitting.
The Great House will be open for tours in January and February only on weekends, holidays and Robert E. Lee’s birthday. The Gift Shop will also be open on the same days as the Great House.
For a four day period beginning Saturday, January 16, 2016, through Tuesday, January 19, 2016, Stratford Hall will be open daily with two free admission days, January 16 and 19, 2016, in recognition of Robert E. Lee’s birthday.
The Inn at Stratford Hall’s Dining Room will be open in January on Wednesday through Sunday for lunch, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., closed on Monday’s and Tuesdays, except for January 18 and 19, 2016. The Dining Room remains available for group events by reservation.
The Inn at Stratford Hall’s lodging will continue to be open during January and February with rooms available in the Cheek and Astor guest houses.
Stratford Hall will return to daily operation on March 1, 2016.
