Thanksgiving at Stratford HallPlan for you and your family to enjoy a memorable Thanksgiving Dinner at historic Stratford Hall on Thursday, November 25, 2010. The dinner, with seating times at 12 noon and 3:00 p.m., is by reservation only using your VISA or MasterCard. Please call Lesley Brooks, 804-493-8038, ext. 8039 to make your reservations now. Seating times fill up quickly, so call now to get your first choice. Thanksgiving dinner costs $40.00 (ages 12 and up), $18.00 (children ages 6-11) and children age 5 and under are free. Tax and gratuity are included. This price includes a grounds pass, so diners will have an opportunity to hike nature trails, walk through the gardens, and visit the beach area. For those diners who also wish to take a Great House tour, a ticket ($5 adults, children 11 and under are free) may be purchased at the ticket house upon arrival. Your credit card will be fully charged one week prior to Thanksgiving, and no refunds will be given after Thursday, November 18, 2010. The Thanksgiving Dinner menu includes Roasted Turkey and Gravy, Savory Stuffing, Sliced Virginia Baked and Country Ham, Silver Dollar Crabcakes, Seasoned Green Beans, Corn Pudding, Mashed Potatoes, Candied Yams, Cranberry Sauce, Biscuits, Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie, Carrot Cake, Chocolate Cake, Iced Tea or Coffee. Fried Oysters will be offered for purchase a la carte; local, fresh oysters, lightly fried and served with cocktail sauce, will be cooked to order. Wine and Beer are available for purchase at an extra charge. |
