Thanksgiving at Stratford HallPlan for you and your family to enjoy a memorable Thanksgiving Dinner at historic Stratford Hall on Thursday, November 24, 2011. The dinner, with seating times at 12 noon and 3:00 p.m., is by reservation only using your VISA or MasterCard. Please call Lesley Brooks, 804-493-8038, ext. 8039 to make your reservations now. Seating times fill up quickly, so call now to get your first choice. Thanksgiving dinner costs $32.00 (ages 12 and up), $14.00 (children ages 6-11) and children age 5 and under are free. Tax and gratuity are included. This price includes a grounds pass, so diners will have an opportunity to hike nature trails, walk through the gardens, and visit the beach area. For those diners who also wish to take a Great House tour, a ticket ($5 adults, children 11 and under are free) may be purchased at the ticket house upon arrival. Your credit card will be fully charged one week prior to Thanksgiving, and no refunds will be given after Thursday, November 17, 2011. The Thanksgiving Dinner menu includes Cream of Butternut Squash and Crab Bisque Soups; Apple, Pear and Walnut Spinach Salad; Roasted Turkey Breast & Gragvy; Savory Stuffing; Virginia Baked Ham; Green Beans with Shallots; Corn Pudding; Mashed Potatoes; Candied Yams; Macaroni and Cheese; Cranberry Relish; Dinner Rolls; Cornbread; Pumpkin Pie; Pecan Pie; Seasonal Fruits; Assortment of Cakes; and Iced Tea or Coffee. Fried Oysters will be offered for purchase a la carte; our local, fresh oysters, lightly fried and served with cocktail sauce, will be cooked to order. Our servers will bring them to your table for your enjoyment! Wine and Beer are available for purchase upon request at an extra charge. |
