Hours

WINTER HOURS begin January 2 and end March 1, 2012. Grounds will be open daily to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Grounds passes will be available: $5 for adults, $3 for children. The Great House, Gift Shop and Cafe will be open only on weekends, holidays, and Robert E. Lee's Birthday.

• Normal visitor hours (effective until Dec. 29, 2011) - daily from 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Great House tours - (on the hour: please plan to arrive at the Visitor Center 15 min. before tour time) - 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Gift Shop - 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. daily.
• Stratford Hall Dining Room will close for the winter season after November 16, 2011; visitors will be able to buy lunch in the Gift Shop.
• Groups (minimum 15 guests) can arrange for special buffets to be served in the Stratford Hall Dining Room.
• Jessie Ball duPont Memorial Library is open to researchers (by appointment only) on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• The Gristmill is scheduled to be open on the 2nd Saturday of each month, April through October, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The mill is currently closed for the winter season. Please call Stratford Hall's Visitor Center to confirm whether or not the mill road will be open.
• Please Note:Nature trails are temporarily closed until clean-up from hurricane damage is completed.

Admission

• Adults (12 yrs. and up): $10.00
• Adults (Groups of 20 or more, age 12 and up): $9.00
• Seniors (60 and up), Active Military (in uniform), AAA members: $9.00
• National Trust for Historic Preservation members: $9.00
• Children 6-11: $5.00
• Children (groups of 20 or more): $4.50
• Children 5 and under: Free

A Grounds Pass can now be purchased which entitles the purchaser to access the hiking trails, public beach area, gardens and public grounds. The pass does not include admission to the Great House and other historic buildings. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. The Grounds Pass will be valid only for the day it is purchased.
