Wednesday December 4, 2013 | 9:00am to 2:00pm
The workshop will feature making a colonial Christmas wreath and a table swag/arrangement that can be hung or used on a table. The charge will be $50 for these two decorations.
Materials and instruction for making a Hogarth curve, boxwood tree or topiary will be by special arrangement with the workshop coordinator. Anyone interested in any, or all, of those types of decorations should notify Mary Young Chinn Tracy at least 3 days in advance of the workshop. Each of those types of additional decorations will cost $20 apiece.
All participants need to bring clippers and gloves and wear comfortable clothing.
Boxwood cuttings and greens will be provided. Faux fruits will be available for purchase. Participants may bring any greenery or embellishments, such as fruit, nuts, cones, dried materials, etc., that they would like to incorporate in their decorations.
This will be a fun day for all. Registration is required. Call 804-493-1972 or email Jon Bachman to register for the workshops. For questions about the workshop itself, or to arrange for making a Hogarth curve, boxwood tree or topiary, please email Mary Young Chinn Tracy or call her at 804-472-2742. The workshops will be held in Stratford Hall’s shop building in the farm building complex. Each workshop requires a minimum of 7 participants and is limited to 15.
