This is a big week for Lodging and Dining at Stratford Hall. Our new Kitchen and redecorated dining room is almost done. There are still just a few (thousand) things left to do, but we are on track to open with our French Wine Dinner on the 9th. We have a new Chef de’ Cuisine who will be starting with us the first of March, and many great menu ideas are floating around the Food and Beverage Department.

Benedicte Merian just returned from The Capital Hotel in Arkansas, training with their F&B Manager, their chef, and their events manager. She has brought back quite a bit of new information. Randy the General Manager spent the same time studying new food options with a local food vendor at their annual food show in Richmond, VA. Both learned quite a bit, and the upcoming events will be spectacular. 

Starting March 15th, the dining room will be officially open for Lunch. In April dinner will be served from 5PM to 9PM Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and there will be a Sunday Brunch from 10AM until 2PM.
